One Model is an AI data workforce management software company that brings clarity to people data. They integrate with hundreds of existing systems to consolidate all HR data into a single platform, helping organizations see the whole picture to make informed people decisions. 

Their brand director leveraged AI to help develop their brand strategy and worked with leadership to align around their unique difference. With that strategy in place and some early design ideas, they needed a human touch to bring their brand to life. Founded in 2014, One Model had built a world-class software platform and it was time to evolve their brand to match the market leadership position they hold. Alongside a refreshed visual identity, their Hubspot website consisted of hundreds of pages that needed a visual style overhaul without impacting the existing UX systems in place.

A stylish refresh

We refreshed the logo, keeping the general concept of a data vortex, but finessing the placement and updating the typeface for a more modern, sleek representation. We chose a futuristic typeface to pair with their brand, to speak to their cutting edge AI technology, and a cleaner sans serif typeface for body copy, showcasing the clarity and trust that is at the core of their mission. The color palette we created consists of bright optimistic colors grounded by dark backgrounds with plenty of white space interspersed throughout. The brand imagery includes people working together as well as data visualizations expressing the sophistication of their product.

Working hand-in-hand with the One Model team, we prioritized and custom-designed their ten most vital pages, then built a flexible design system of reusable blocks and components. Animations replaced static diagrams, creating more engaging, explanatory content. Once approved, we managed development of over 150 web pages end-to-end, ensuring the final site was as easy to update as it was visually cohesive. It was a smooth launch resulting in a brand and website that finally matched the sophistication of the product.

Ongoing brand building

After the launch, One Model brought us on as their ongoing creative team, collaborating on everything from event booths to bespoke visuals for blogs and case studies. We also collaborated, using AI, to create custom images for their AI playbook – a resource for HR pros who are thoughtfully advancing technology internally, while proving their power as a strategic driver for an organization.
