A brand new vision
Spinning off from a previous firm, Better was a completely new company coming to life and needed a brand to back up its founder’s vision to empower, educate, and equip young businesses with the resources needed to get off the ground.
Other firms in the category focus heavily on themselves and their offerings, without defining what truly matters to young small businesses or other similar clientele.
Through a clear brand strategy, we center Better’s brand around the concept of continuous improvement; being better than we were yesterday. Better emphasizes a mindset, not a set of services often associated with law firms.
With optimism as a guiding brand trait, we created an unexpected yet appropriate visual identity for this new brand. Bertie the hedgehog is introduced as Better’s friendly, yet resilient new spokesman, offering reassurance to an often overwhelming arena for new business owners.
